A year has already gone by and I am so fortunate to have held the title of Miss Teen Quebec 2008. It has been such an amazing year for me. I have accomplished so many tasks during my reign that I will carry with me forever. One of the most memorable accomplishments was working with the Starlight Children's Foundation. During the year I worked very closely with them attending many charity events, galas and corporate affairs. I did everything from Go-Karting, adapted water-skiing & even speaking to others at a bridal convention. Seeing a sick child's face light up made all the difference. It was so rewarding to me to be able to make a difference in a person's life. As well as working with my charity, I had the privilege to participate in several different parades with my great companion, Anne Marie Miss Quebec 2008. Both of us were featured in the St-Patrick's Day Parade as well as the biggest parade in Quebec the St-Jean Baptiste parade.

This year, it was an honour to continue working with the MCI organization as office administration. Pageant week went over great, many everlasting friendships were formed and bonds that will never be broken. This great week is all because of a very special lady, Ms. Sylvia Stark. I must say, she is absolutely amazing. Without her I believe this pageant would not exist. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your hard work and dedication. To the chaperones, all of you were absolutely fantastic. Cassondra you have been such an inspiration to many, I truly enjoyed spending the week with you.

To this years title holders, Aubrey, you have truly demonstrated what it is to hold the national title. I believe that you will carry this title well and be proud. I wish you much success in your endeavors. Katherine, you made us proud and I am sure you will have a wonderful year promoting the Teaddy Bears of Hope and your chosen Charity. The best of luck to the both of you!
