To Whom it may concern,
My name is Joelle Worrell, Miss Saint Croix New Brunswick and I am writing to you regarding my participation as a delegate in Miss Canada International 1998. I was one of the contestants and would like to comment on the stay in Toronto and the treatment I received while I was there.
First of all I would like to say that I had one of the most amazing times of my life. Few words can describe how much very fun we encountered during the many activities in the fun filled week. Everywhere we went we were treated with positively and encouragement. It was so wonderful to have so much support from people that we had just met. It was so exhilarating to have been part of such a great production. I had the chance to meet great girls, supportive and friendly chaperones and pageant staff as well as everyone's head mother Sylvia Stark. Very few people have the opportunity that I had and I am ever so grateful to have been part of it.
All of the contestants seem to be having the time of their lives. Yes there were some rules that we all had to abide by each day but that was for everyone's safety. The chaperones were so good to us. They were our Mom's away from home, and even through they just met us took us under their wings to offer assistance at any time, guidance, support, and their companionship. If it wasn't for the chaperones and staff's positively and good will during this week I would of been lost. I am so grateful to all of them for everything they have done for us. We were treated like queens. I felt like a celebrity for a week and was treated with kindness and respect through out the entire week.
