Upon my arrival in Toronto, I immediately felt warmly welcomed into a team of delegates. Together we dealt with new experiences and challenges, but never without becoming closer and tighter as a group. On pageant night, we selected a leader to represent the delegates through Canada, and I felt nothing but happiness and pride to be part of such a wonderful event. Similarly, I had nothing but best wishes for the wonderful women selected as Miss Canada and Miss Teen Canada International, who, as anticipated, accomplished so much in a single year of their reign.

I truthfully have nothing but fond memories of my experience as a delegate, I met compassionate, intelligent, ambitious women from across the country, and had the opportunity to express myself as an individual, on behalf of my charity, and on behalf of the Province of Nova Scotia; it was truly an experience of a lifetime.
